Diana Naranjo is a Colombian singer-songwriter born in the city of Manizales, who resided in South Florida for 13 years, taking her roots throughout the American geography by highlighting the traditions of our culture through music.
Diana Naranjo is an example of perseverance, dedication and tenacity for those who pursue success outside their countries of origin, becoming an artistic reference in the scene of Miami and now in Austin Texas, promoting her music in the best venues of the city and projecting towards the rest of the Country keeping her essence materialized in her musical production of genere Latin Pop the "Doors of the Heart" "Las Puertas del Corazon" which was considered in the list for the nomination in the Latin Grammy Awards in 2014 as Best Pop Latino Contemporary album, winner of NG Awwards, Miami Fl in 2012 and three consecutive years the Legends Award as "The Best Singer of the Year" "Mejor Cantante femenina" 2010, 2011 and 2012 and winner of the TV Contest of La Mega TV "La Descarga con Albita" in Miami, FL in 2010 .
Diana Naranjo has been appearing increasingly in important stages. In July of 2015 she was invited to the "Pride Independence Festival of Colombia on Long Island" "Festival Orgullo Colombiano" in New York where she was accompanied on stage by the renowned orchestra "Los Latin Brothers" in front of 25.000. Diana Naranjo was named International Godmother of the Cuban Parade in the City of New Jersey in June of 2016, the most important Cuban event of the North East of the United States and she performed three consecutive days in the most important venues of New Jersey.
The Colombian songwriter presented two seasons of her show called "Entre Amigos" "Among Friends" at "The Hall of the Arts" "El Paseo de las Artes" in the city of Doral-Fl, accompanied by the renowned musical director Carlos Puchi and his band. The first two presentations were a success with a full house and great comments for the musical quality and compositions of the Colombian songwriter.
In October of 2016 the world premiere of "We Want to Make a Trio" "Queremos Hacer un Trio" musical Comedy of which Diana Naranjo is part as actress and singer, with a season that lasted until December in the Catarsis Room of the Trail Theater in the city of Miami, thus ending with great success the 2016 year full of wonderful projects, In May 28th the play was successfully presented in Tampa FL.
In January of 2017 the songwriter moved to the music capital of the world Austin-Texas, starting a new stage with a concert in April at the Santa Cruz Theater with her show "Entre Amigos" with the musical direction of Carlos Ufret, where she also presented His new video "Aunque te te Vayas" "Even if You leave" shooted in (New York), directed by Juan David Romero, with the production of Carlos Gomez and she performed in different venues of the city at the SXSW Festival. Currently Diana Naranjo is pre' producing her new album and will continue conquering the wonderful state of Texas and comes with a fresh album with new and positive songs of her authorship that will be launched at the end of this 2017 under the tutelage of Luis Romero who was the producer the multi Grammy winner Franco de Vita during 15 years.
